The objective of the society is to spread the ideas of the Mother and Sri Aurobindo, as far and wide, as possible.

To achieve the above objective has taken a resolve, to bring out a monthly Hindi magazine (Navankur), which is now running in its 9th year.

In addition the want to help the local semi-urban youths to become employable.

Our Branch has the ownership of 1 Acre of land in village Kachna, District and Tehsil Raipur. It has built on it 2100 Sqft into a Hall, which we call Sri Aurobindo complex, (SAC) (and Personality Development Centre) and some additional facilities. 20 computers and a teacher Smt Babita Markande is undertaking the teaching of computer operations to 41 youths, for the last one month, in a course of total 6 months.

We celebrated the 149th Birthday of Sri Aurobindo (Darshan Diwas) with these students. Photographs taken on this occasion may be seen.

The road at adjacent SAC, measuring 14 Km has been named by the Raipur Municipal Corporation as Maharshi Aurobindo Marg. The SAC is proposed to be a two storied structure, out of which only about ¼ has been constructed. The room adjacent to the Hall houses a small library for use of students. This Hall and complex have been inaugurated on the 21.02.2021 and the Chief Guest on the occasion was the sitting MLA Shri Satyanarayan Sharma. Also present were Shri S.K. Misra (Former Chief Secretary, Govt of CG), DG Police Shri D.M. Avasthi, and Shri Dinesh Shrivastava, (Sr. IAS-retired), and our Branch Board Members many high ranking dignitaries.

From 19.07.2021 computer classes have been stared in the SAC. There is very enthusiastic response from the students. In due course, weekly Medical checkup facility will be provided to the nearby village people.

The SAC is surrounded by 13 villages where there is a lot of need for improving the standard of education for school children. We would like to invite the Headquarters to provide guidance/help to improve the teaching standards of the connected villages, out of which 2 to 3 have Higher Secondary School. We may add that the school children have been found very keen students, so they deserve all help.

Our programme to celebrate 150th Birth Anniversary of Sri Aurobindo :- We have a State Committee for Chhattisgarh State consisting of the Branches/Centres personnel from Raipur, Bhilai, Durg and Bilaspur.
